Happy New Year! The 20th International Symposium on Society and Resource Management (ISSRM) will be held in Hannover, Germany, from June 8 – 13, 2014.
This is a reminder that abstracts for organized sessions, individual papers and posters are due Sunday, January 12, 2014, at midnight (Central European Time).
The conference theme is “Challenges for Urban and Rural Transformation,” so we are expecting a broad array of “classic” ISSRM topics to be covered and represented at the conference. The conference web site is http://www.issrm2014.iasnr.org/. Please use the online submission system on the web site to submit your abstracts. If you need assistance, please contact the conference organizers in Hannover at firstname.lastname@example.org
We have already received about 25 high-quality organized session proposals which reflect the conference theme in fields such as climate change, renewable energies, ecosystem services, protected area management, recreation, local and regional collaborative planning and many more. We are certainly looking forward to receiving your additional proposals.
Conference registration will open around January 15, 2014. We expect the conference fee to be around 325 Euros, including not only conference participation, but also coffee breaks, lunches, a reception at Hannover City Hall, a poster session, a conference dinner and several high-profile keynote speakers. We have also already posted information on accommodation and post-conference field trips.
Please submit your abstracts prior to the deadline!
